March 16, 2026 — Custom Email Servers, UI Polish & Bug Fixes

Notification Methods — Email:

  • Added ability to add a custom email server to send Controvo emails through Pilot Feedback
  • Added ability to send a test email from the Controvo email server and your custom email server
  • Test email sends to whichever admin clicks the button

UI Improvements:

  • General UI improvements and updates across multiple areas for a more consistent experience
  • Reworked the Monitor editor for a cleaner, more intuitive workflow Pilot Feedback
  • Save Changes now works from any step as long as all validation checks pass Pilot Feedback
  • Alert message field now supports basic HTML formatting with a rich text toolbar Pilot Feedback
  • Redesigned the alert message preview to show a clearer Subject/Body layout Pilot Feedback
  • Replaced “Send separate alerts” checkbox with a slide toggle for consistency
  • Less restrictive Phone System FQDN input when adding or editing a phone system Pilot Feedback
  • Added ability to copy a Role, making role creation faster
  • Added copy option to admin Role creation
  • Extended new search filters into the Settings area
  • Added global 3CX Asset filters for Customer and Phone System Pilot Feedback
  • Plus a lot more under the hood

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue that may have blocked some emails from being sent
  • Fixed an issue that may have shown assets from inactive Customers or Phone Systems
  • Various UI bug fixes

March 11, 2026 — Alert Cooldown & Per-Column Filtering

Monitors — Added Alert Cooldown setting to the alert configuration. Set this value to avoid being bombarded with alerts for fast-paced monitors that may alert too frequently during an outage. Pilot Feedback

UI — All tables now have per-column search and filtering.

March 5, 2026 — Policy Notifications, Admin Roles & ConnectWise Fixes

Policies and Templates — Added column showing the last user who updated the data.

Policies — Added the user who made a change to update and assignment/unassignment notifications. New daily notification for Policy Application Failures, sent to all admins with the ADMIN role.

Roles — Locked down the ADMIN role. Now used to determine which admins receive failure notifications.

ConnectWise Integration — Fixed emails not sending on errors. Added 60-minute cooldown between error emails.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed bug not showing policies in correct order on the Assignment tab
  • Fixed bug causing slow API calls to get Locations
