Software Can Appear Overnight Now. Trust Can't.
Building software has never been faster. A polished product can show up in a weekend, complete with a landing page, a feature grid, and a blog. Some of it is even good. But when a platform holds the credentials to every phone system you manage, "it looks finished" is not the bar.
The bar is what can't be generated: real MSPs running real fleets on it for months, a public release history you can scroll, an independent security firm that tested it, and a team that fixed what the testers found.

How Controvo Earned Its Launch

2023
Born on our own fleet
Controvo started as the internal tool of a Platinum 3CX partner managing hundreds of phone systems and thousands of extensions. Before it had a name, it had production traffic.
2024
From internal tool to community product
After a year of running it ourselves, we shifted gears and began rebuilding Controvo as a platform for the whole 3CX reseller community.
January 2025
Public release notes begin
We started publishing release notes every month and have not missed one since. Eighteen months of shipped work, in public, before the first paying customer. Read the release notes →

The pilot opens, capped at 20 partners
We invited real MSPs to run their real fleets on Controvo, free, in exchange for honest feedback. Capped at twenty so every partner had a direct Slack line to the team. The announcement post →
February 2026
Alpha graduates to pilot production
Partners moved from kicking the tires to running daily operations on the platform. Bug reports turned into fixes in days. Feature requests turned into weekly releases. What we built and what changed →
July 2026
Independent penetration test
A third-party penetration test performed by ISP Security. Identified findings were reviewed, remediated, and retested.

General availability

Twenty partners' fleets exercised edge cases no test environment reproduces: odd trunk configurations, decade-old templates, systems mid-migration. Every one of those found a bug before a paying customer could.

Independently Penetration Tested
Controvo has completed a third-party penetration test performed by ISP Security to help validate the security of the platform. Identified findings were reviewed, remediated, and retested as part of Controvo's ongoing commitment to protecting customer data.
