April 14, 2026 — Backup Manager
Backup Manager — New tool under Tools. Centralized backup management across all phone systems with status overview, on-demand backups, and scheduled or recurring backup tasks.
- Backup Status Overview — See all phone systems in one table with FQDN, Customer, Last Backup date, and schedule configuration. Last Backup shows relative time with full date on hover.
- Backup Now — Select one or more systems, configure backup name, include or exclude recordings, enable compression, and optionally encrypt. Real-time progress tracking with retry support.
- Scheduled & Recurring Backups — Schedule a one-time backup or create recurring backups on a Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Custom (cron) schedule with optional start and end dates.
- Backup Log — View all scheduled, recurring, and completed tasks. See execution history, status, results, and cancel active tasks directly from the log.
- Global Variable Support — Use
%DATE%or%DATETIME%in backup file names with live preview. Recommended for recurring backups to ensure unique file names.

April 13, 2026 — Call Flow Studio
Call Flow Studio — Visualize and edit call routing in real time. Interactive diagrams map every path a call can take — IVR key press forwards, timeouts, and conditions included. Right-click any node to modify its configuration directly from the diagram. Filter by time of day, hide unused extensions, and auto-collapse filters. Export diagrams as PNG images.
Task Scheduler Overhaul — New step-by-step wizard for creating and editing scheduled tasks. Redesigned execution log with table view and two-tab layout for easier monitoring.
Announcements — Stay informed with release notes directly in the app. Unread announcements appear in the toolbar horn icon. Expand announcements inline or visit the dedicated Announcements page for full history with search and infinite scroll.

- Fixed SIP trunk info not showing correctly on DIDs table
- Added missing columns to SBCs and Phones tables
- Fixed Call Flow Studio tooltips not hiding when using right-click menus

IVR Table — New columns added to the IVR table including IVR Forwards, showing where the IVR will route to given an input.
Task Scheduler — Another new tool providing a central area to manage all scheduled tasks across your phone systems.
Phone Systems — Restart actions now include Schedule and Recurring options alongside the existing on-demand restart.
Knowledge Base — New KB articles covering Update Manager and Phone Manager setup and usage.
UI — Updated time picker across the app for a more consistent and intuitive date/time selection experience.
April 8, 2026 — Dashboard Drilldowns & Phone Manager
Dashboard Drilldowns — More drilldown views now available: Missing Backups, Expiring Licenses, Zero Extensions, High CPU Usage, High RAM Usage, High Disk Usage, and High Extension Consumption. All with configurable thresholds.
Phone Manager — New tool for managing phone hardware. Update firmware and reboot phones on demand, schedule a one-time action, or create a recurring schedule.
Update Manager — UI and UX improvements to the recently launched Update Manager.
Toolbar Updates:
- Announcements — New horn icon for future 3CX Blog posts and Controvo Release notes

3CX Assets — New loading screen so the page no longer appears frozen while data loads.
Notification Bell — New icon in the top right of the toolbar showing previous toast notifications. Will expand in the future to include Controvo Release notes, 3CX Blog Posts, and more.
April 1, 2026 — Update Manager
Phone Systems — Update Now — New action on the phone systems table. Choose which updates to apply, confirm your selections in a two-step wizard, and push the update without logging into each system individually.
Update Manager — Controvo’s first dedicated tool. The Update Manager provides a full-page view for managing 3CX updates — more screen space, same functionality as the table action today, with broader multi-system controls coming.
