May 27, 2026 — Prompt Upload & UI Updates

Prompt Upload — Upload audio prompts to 3CX directly from the IVR create/edit screen. Hand Controvo any common audio format and it converts the file to .wav for you. Review the converted audio to make sure it sounds right, then upload it to 3CX.

Phone System Table & Update Manager — New column showing the Auto Update status of each 3CX system.

Improvements:

  • Role Management — Continued visual and UX refinements to the Role Management page.
  • 3CX Asset Forms — Redesigned the Extension create/edit, phone provisioning, and IVR create/edit forms.

May 21, 2026 — Backup Manager, IVRs & Account MFA

Phone System Account MFA — Add multi-factor authentication to the account Controvo uses to log into a phone system. Requires the MFA secret 3CX shows underneath the QR code when you set up MFA in an authenticator app.

IVRs — Create, update, and delete IVRs from Controvo. Every change is reflected in the PBX.

Call Queues & Ring Groups — Delete Call Queues and Ring Groups directly from Controvo, with deletes reflected in the PBX.

Backup Manager Enhancements:

  • New column showing the actual backups present on each PBX.
  • Restore a 3CX system from a backup, or schedule the restore for later.
  • Delete backups from 3CX on demand, or schedule the delete for later.

Improvements:

  • Admin Settings Redesign — Settings are now organized into tabs. Related items are grouped together. For example, Admins and Roles now live under a single User Management tab.

May 21, 2026 — Call Quality Reports

Call Quality Reports — Pull a call quality report for any call log that has one. Review every call quality report across a time range in one place. Start Call Quality Monitoring straight from the Phone Systems table, then choose which extensions to monitor and for how long. Per-extension call quality data now appears on the Extensions table (defaulting to today’s data) wherever a report exists.

Improvements:

  • Confirm Modals — Redesigned confirmation modals and made them consistent across the application.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the loading overlay would not clear after a Contact was saved.

May 15, 2026 — New Extension Actions

Start/Stop Call Quality Monitoring — Trigger monitoring from an extension row or as a multi-select bulk action. Run it now or schedule it for a specific date and time, including as a recurring task. A per-extension progress banner reports successes and failures with retry.

Send Welcome Email — Send extension welcome emails from a row action or in bulk via multi-select. Send now or schedule for a specific date and time, with the same per-extension progress banner and retry.

May 8, 2026 — Scheduled Phone Reprovisioning

Schedule & Recur Phone Reprovisioning — Phone reprovisioning now supports scheduled and recurring runs from the Task Scheduler, the Phones table, and the Phone Manager. Same flow you already use for Reboot and Upgrade.

Improvements:

  • Router Phone Warnings — Updated the router-phone warning shown when an action could cause downtime on a router phone, and added the same warning when creating a scheduled task in the Task Scheduler.
